It’s that time of year! Our 7th and 8th Graders are traveling to Angola, IN to Pokagon State Park to enjoy The Toboggan Run.   We will be leaving Indy on Saturday, February 6th and returning Sunday, February 7th. Trip info and permission slips may be found at www.sumcyouth.org


This month our high school students we will be among thousands of teenagers participating in World Vision’s 30 Hour Famine.  The 30 Hour Famine is an international youth movement to fight hunger.   As participants in the famine we will help feed hungry children and change our world (www.30hourfamine.org).   The famine will begin on Friday, February 26th and conclude Saturday, February 27th. More details can be found at www.sumcyouth.org.

We open The Underground at 7:30pm and close at 10:30pm.


Please note that the dates that were published for our ongoing mission project to The Dayspring Center were incorrect. The correct dates are:

Sunday, July 25th
This mission project is open to students in grades 7th-12th. When we go to Dayspring we prepare and serve dinner to the residents. We meet at SUMC at 4:30pm and return at 7:30pm. If you have never been to Dayspring, give it a chance and invite a friend!
